Our New Home!

What an adventure this has been! Check out our New Home!! 2 bedrooms/2 baths with a beautiful Den! It's so beautiful and in a very nice neighborhood! 

We just love the two car garage and beautiful landscaping!

We'll need to update the appliances but I just love the Granite counter tops and the lighting! The window over the sink is a box window for me to grow plants and fresh herbs! So nice!

My new laundry room! SO CUTE! I also love the deep sink...very cool!

 We just love the molding along the ceiling and we now have a Marbled, Gas fireplace! (This is NOT my furniture! Ha!) I need to paint all that brown molding, change those drapes, and we decided to change the walls to "Garden of Paradise" (a beautiful light olive/brown color)! This whole thing is going to POP once we're done! 

 

Our beautiful yard with an amazing Wood Lattice covered deck! I see BBQ's and Croquet all summer long! It's so cool to have Mt. Rainier and The Northwest Trek Wildlife Park so close....it's like they're right in our backyard!

This is our neighbor's home. It's so beautiful with a full basketball court in their backyard! I just love this neighborhood!

Life is AMAZING!!  Coming here 3 years ago and going thru so very much....I just couldn't have ever imagined how this path that started out so ridiculously hard could lead us to so many amazingly wonderful blessings from God! What a beautiful Life I'm living! My cup runneth over! =)

This year our theme was Pajama Party!

We had such a wonderful time bringing in the new year! I am full of optimism and I'm looking forward to this beautiful year ahead of us! =)

Bye Bye Ol' Friend!

Well...that's it! Truck has broken down again and no matter what...I'm not putting one more cent into it *shakes head.  This ol' girl has taken us cross country TWICE and has really been a wonderfully reliable beast but it's finally over.  I really had hoped with this last fix that it would last until March but...I guess she just didn't have it in her to make it. At first...I have to say...I wasn't very happy (insta-freakout!) but life is still great! Meditation is a wonderful drug and Christmas is right around the corner! How can I NOT be happy?

So a car shopping we will go....a car shopping we will go....oh ho the merry-o....a car shopping we will go! HA! They always say....buying a car at the end of the year is the best time so...lets hope that's true. Crossing fingers we find a really good deal! =)

My Very First Quilt!

Yes! I can't believe it....I am now a QUILTER!! I have dreamed of this day for so long! It has always seemed so very scarey to me but thanks to my girl's Tina and Misti....I am now a quilter and I LOVE IT!  

My very first quilt was made for my love...my Honey Butters....and he picked all the colors and fabrics. I didn't do too bad for my first time but clearly....making the squares line up was a little harder than I thought but I defiantly learned a lot thru the process in making it so I went out and bought the necessary equipment to help me with that problem for all my future projects!

It is so soft and warm! He loves it!

I just bought the fabric to get started but before I start....I have to decide...do I make it with bigger 12 x 12 squares or do I do a Stripped Rag Quilt? I just don't know which to choose!

Either way....it's gonna be so much FUN!
