Our First Camping Trip to Ohanapecosh!

We had such a great time camping! Here's our pic's!

Leaving Graham, WA! I'm so blessed that I get to live here!

We made it! Time to set up camp and make lunch!

It was 92 degree's when we arrived....it was a wee bit HOT and humid up there!

These tree's were SO big and tall! So pretty!

Finally it was time to relax and have some lunch!

The "Woodman" that drives around hadn't come yet to sell us some wood (You need to buy the wood locally to help keep non-local bugs from causing issues in Mt. Rainier National Forest) so I just cooked up some hotdogs for the rest of the day.

Caught him mid Hotdog munch!

Sun is starting to set so...I pulled out my campfire stories and a few jokes to get give us a few laughs!

The "Woodman" finally showed up and we got us some wonderful bundles of wood, so I made me the best campfire food ever! Marshmallows! See Joe's face....yeah....he's saying "I'm not eatin' that!" LOL! More for me!

Sandi isn't having a very good time....I don't think she likes this camping stuff at all! LOL!

Next morning....it was time to go on a little adventure to see everything! Those are some big roots on that fallen tree...neat!

We hiked down to the Ohanapecosh River! The water is snow melt directly off Mt Rainier...it was so blue and beautiful. So much Fun!

Time to play some games and just enjoy the evening! We're loving it out here!

It was still a bit hot so I broke out the umbrella to give me and Sandi a little shade.

 Hotdog time again!

Relaxation in overload! It felt amazing!

Last day...Joe is cooking us up a little breakfast to start the day.

The cool morning air felt so good so we kicked back and played a few more games.

Sandi is still NOT liking this camping thing! LOL!

But I have a sneaking suspicion Joe is defiantly liking it. =)

Some more Marshmallows!

Time to pack up and head home to our Air Conditioned home! LOL! =)

We drove over Mt Rainer to go back home....it was an amazing drive.

We had such a wonderful time and we can't wait to do it again. We sure did love our first "Tent" camping experience together but we still like our "Cabin" camping a bit more! I can see us doing both in the future! =)

Baked Zucchini Pizza!

My husband LOVES....and I do mean LOVES pizza....but I'm not a big fan so I'm always on the lookout for an alternative for myself to enjoy. Boy did I have found another great choice!

Baked Zucchini Pizza!

I'm super excited about this Pizza alternative! It's so yummy!

Slice the zucchini in half. Slice off the bottom to keep it stable. Brush with olive oil and top with garlic or garlic powder. Top with sliced tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Use mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese or mixed blend.. Bake 375 for 20 to 30 minutes until soft.

Another Low Calorie, Gluten free Pizza choice!

Getting Ready For Ohanapecosh!

We had fun today putting up our new tent.  It's gonna be perfect for our camping trip to Ohanapecosh!

Sandi thought it was pretty cool too! Once it was up...she kept running in and out having a great ol' time!

I LOVE the screened in porch!

It has a nice rain cover so we won't get wet if it rains and there is so much room in this tent! We have a nice air bed too cuz I ain't sleepin' on rocks! HA!

Oh I can't wait! I LOVE CAMPING!! =)

Our New Home!

What an adventure this has been! Check out our New Home!! 2 bedrooms/2 baths with a beautiful Den! It's so beautiful and in a very nice neighborhood!

We just love the two car garage and beautiful landscaping!

We'll need to update the appliances but I just love the Granite counter tops and the lighting! The window over the sink is a box window for me to grow plants and fresh herbs! So nice!

My new laundry room! SO CUTE! I also love the deep sink...very cool!

We just love the molding along the ceiling and we now have a Marbled, Gas fireplace! (This is NOT my furniture! Ha!) I need to paint all that brown molding, change those drapes, and we decided to change the walls to "Garden of Paradise" (a beautiful light olive/brown color)! This whole thing is going to POP once we're done!

Our beautiful yard with an amazing Wood Lattice covered deck! I see BBQ's and Croquet all summer long! It's so cool to have Mt. Rainier and The Northwest Trek Wildlife Park so close....it's like they're right in our backyard!

Here's our wonderful neighborhood!

This is our neighbor's home. It's so beautiful with a full basketball court in their backyard! I just love this neighborhood!

Life is AMAZING!!  Coming here 3 years ago and going thru so very much....I just couldn't have ever imagined how this path that started out so ridiculously hard could lead us to so many amazingly wonderful blessings from God! What a beautiful Life I'm living! My cup runneth over! =)
