We had such a great time camping! Here's our pic's!
Leaving Graham, WA! I'm so blessed that I get to live here!
We made it! Time to set up camp and make lunch!
It was 92 degree's when we arrived....it was a wee bit HOT and humid up there!
These tree's were SO big and tall! So pretty!
Finally it was time to relax and have some lunch!
The "Woodman" that drives around hadn't come yet to sell us some wood (You need to buy the wood locally to help keep non-local bugs from causing issues in Mt. Rainier National Forest) so I just cooked up some hotdogs for the rest of the day.
Caught him mid Hotdog munch!
Sun is starting to set so...I pulled out my campfire stories and a few jokes to get give us a few laughs!
The "Woodman" finally showed up and we got us some wonderful bundles of wood, so I made me the best campfire food ever! Marshmallows! See Joe's face....yeah....he's saying "I'm not eatin' that!" LOL! More for me!
Sandi isn't having a very good time....I don't think she likes this camping stuff at all! LOL!
Next morning....it was time to go on a little adventure to see everything! Those are some big roots on that fallen tree...neat!
We hiked down to the Ohanapecosh River! The water is snow melt directly off Mt Rainier...it was so blue and beautiful. So much Fun!
Time to play some games and just enjoy the evening! We're loving it out here!
It was still a bit hot so I broke out the umbrella to give me and Sandi a little shade.
Hotdog time again!
Relaxation in overload! It felt amazing!
Last day...Joe is cooking us up a little breakfast to start the day.
The cool morning air felt so good so we kicked back and played a few more games.
Sandi is still NOT liking this camping thing! LOL!
But I have a sneaking suspicion Joe is defiantly liking it. =)
Some more Marshmallows!
Time to pack up and head home to our Air Conditioned home! LOL! =)
We drove over Mt Rainer to go back home....it was an amazing drive.
We had such a wonderful time and we can't wait to do it again. We sure did love our first "Tent" camping experience together but we still like our "Cabin" camping a bit more! I can see us doing both in the future! =)
